Electric Fun Fly

Contest 10am to noon

This event is a mixture of a bit of luck and minimum flying ability. All JCRCC members are eligible and should participate without concern for flying ability.

Contestants can compete in all or some of the events.

Points will be converted into raffle tickets at end of event.

Fun Fly events:

Spot landing:

Each contestant will role one die. Each point rolled represents 20 seconds (2 =40sec)

Contestant will take off and fly for the seconds established by the role of die.

At end of time engine is shut off.

Land in circle receive 5 points

Land on field outside of circle receive 3 points

      One point for trying or DSQ.

Landing must be normal configuration. No nose in or wings not level. CD holds decision. Spot landing is determined where plane stops. Any potion of plane in circle is acceptable.

      Cone Run:

There will be 3 cones on the field.

Contestant to serpentine around the cones and return to starting point

5 points for successful completion of run

3 points for a successful completion after multiple attempts

1 point for attempt or DSQ

3 maneuver demonstration:

Contestant will take off and perform 3 distinct maneuvers of any difficulty.

Contestant must call in advance the maneuver to be performed

5 points for successful completion

3 points for “sloppy” completions

1 point for attempt or DAQ

CD is sole judge of contest and holds final resolution of issues
