Remembering Doug
Douglas F. Hoffman Jr was a long time member of JCRCC and a lifelong model airplane hobbyist. He built and flew U-Control planes competitively for many years. He was an accomplished builder who built hundreds of planes during his lifetime. He would occasionally be building three planes at the same time. All would be expertly crafted. His wife Jeanie died many years ago of a chronic illness. He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Hoffman; hid brother, James Hoffman; he is also survived by two sisters, Joan Hoffman McDonald, and Marylou Hoffman.
Doug was born in northern New Jersey and has lived in Brick for the last 30 years. Doug proudly served in the United States Air Force.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Douglas and Mary Hoffman, and his wife Jeanne Hoffman. Douglas is survived by his daughter, Tracey Hoffman; his brother, James Hoffman; he is also survived by two sisters, Joan Hoffman McDonald, and Marylou Hoffman.
